Thomas Moore and Don Steger (Reeder Memorial Baptist Church) compare longstanding contributions to Charlotte.  Both men have been giving of themselves to our city for many years and both have earned our admiration and respect.

Shacobi McCorkle, a nursing student at UNCC, is a recipient of a Charlotte Rotary Scholarship.  Shacobi spoke touchingly of her appreciation to our membership for our assistance in helping her achieve her goal.  She was met with loud applause.

David Fitch, an accounting graduate from UNCC was also introduced.  David impressed Charlotte Rotary's members by his determination to succeed despite setbacks.  No wonder he's successful!
