Pete Larson had the dubious honor of winning (hands down) the "Ugliest Tie Award" which puts Pete a notch ahead of his peers at Charlotte Rotary.

Harry Daugherty and Ronnie Pruett (Ronnie A. Pruett, Attorney At Law) are a study in opposites when it comes to dress code for our weekly meeting. The usually conservative and well-dressed Ronnie went all out in the spirit of the "ugly tie" contest and was declared "Runner-Up!" (The hat's extra but gives us an idea for the next silly contest!)

Jerry Orr (Charlotte-Douglas International Airport) and Warren Ludlam (Cruise Holidays of Charlotte) appear stunned that so many rather normal-seeming Charlotte executives could appear in public wearing such bizarre neckwear.

Al McCulloch smiled along with the rest of us as Rusty Brink offered his usual zany brand of humor during his rendering of our Health & Happiness report. Rusty stayed non-political by poking fun at both Dems and Repubs.

Frank Watson, III (Charlotte Van & Storage) and Barry Miller conduct business-as-usual during a lull in the luncheon.

Frank Martin (Landscape Properties) and Stuart deWitt (Eastern Warehouse Co.) enjoy the usual menu of delicious food we enjoy each week at Four Points Sheraton.

The ever-gregarious Rusty Brink (Presbyterian Hospital Foundation) "carbs up" just prior to his hilarious Health & Happiness report.

Ed Ruff (Wachovia Securities, Inc.) and Reagin Warren.
