Question: How many new Rotarians does it take to make a meeting program both entertaining and interesting?  Answer: Two Chips and a Scott.  Enjoying each other's company at our Charlotte Rotary meeting are our speakers:  Scott Anderson (President/Bank of Mecklenburg and self-described "itinerant migrant banker",) Chip Gwynn (Group Manager/Osprey Systems - aka:  Price H. Gwynn IV, billing his presentation to us - beforehand - as "slightly entertaining",) and Stuart C. Hemingway III (Managing Partner/Carnegie Worldwide, Inc. and quoter of Socrates).

Our ex-mayor and all-time friend Ken Harris sat with Darrell Holland, the terrific man who has brought Pepsi Cola to the lips of Charlotteans.

Gayle Smith (The Charlotte Observer's finest advertising rep) chuckles it up at the head table with the Rotarian with whom everyone loves to chat, Frank Larson, Jr.

Is there a doctor in the house?  In fact, two of them - carefully selecting only the most healthy foods from our sumptuous buffet -  Dr. Bruce Darden (Charlotte Orthopedic Specialists) and Dr. Tyson Bennett (Cardiologist.) 

Sharon King (Kennedy Charter School - Elon Homes for Children) watches with great interest as Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility Department Chief Doug Beam passes up water in favor of tea. What do we learn from this, Doug???
