Opera Carolina Don Giovanni artists who performed on Tuesday were Greer Grimsley, who sings the title role, Misa Iwama, who portrays Zerlina, and Mark Tysinger, OC's assistant conductor and chorus master. This luncheon performance was made possible by Charlotte Rotary member James W. (Jim) Wright who is president of Opera Carolina.

Don Giovanni performances are Thursday February 4 at 8:00 pm, Saturday  February 6 at 8:00 pm and Sunday February 7 at 2:00 pm.  All  performances are at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.

Jerry Orr presents "Health & Happiness" on 1/26/99. His funny stories about pilots and airplane mechanics were an absolute delight. Orr is Aviation Director of the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

Lee Morris, Hal Bouton, and Roger Sarow on 1/26/99. Morris, a retired radio broadcaster, introduced our speaker today. Morris was president of Charlotte Rotary during 1983-1984. Bouton is with WTVI-TV ; Sarow is with WFAE Public Radio.
