On 2/2/99 Tom Robertson thanks our "bell ringers" who did a great job for Salvation Army collection kettles during the Christmas season. Robertson joined Charlotte Rotary in 1976, currently serves on the Computer Check-in Committee, and has become a 2d level Paul Harris Fellow. He is a retired Duke Power executive.

Worth Williamson is our Club's President-Elect who will take office on July 1, 1999. Williamson is scheduled to attend the Rotary International Convention in Singapore during June 13-16, 1999.

Harry Weatherly and Ann Schrader on 2/2/99. Weatherly joined Charlotte Rotary in 1995 and holds the classification Fiscal Management, County Government. Schrader is former Chairman, Board of County Commissioners, Mecklenburg County. Her husband Clem Schrader (not shown) is a former president of the North Carolina World Trade Association.

Shefte joined Charlotte Rotary in 1965, is a Paul Harris Fellow, and was president of the Club during 1984-1985. He is current Chairman of our Rotary Information Committee.

Tom O'Brien and Theresa Evans on 2/2/99. O'Brien joined Charlotte Rotary in 1987. Evans joined in 1995 and in December, 1998 was elected as Assistant Secretary-Treasurer of the Club beginning July 1, 1999.

Two prominent physicians in a smooth operation! Dr. Bruce Darden (left) and Dr. Rogers "Chip" Howell gather up Rotary banners after luncheon on 2/2/99. Darden, an orthopedist, joined Charlotte Rotary in 1989 and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He is current Chairman of our Environment Committee which, among other things, has helped to beautify Charlotte with thousands of tree plantings. Howell, a neonatologist, joined our Club in 1996 and currently serves on the Sergeant at Arms Committee.
