Jim Kelley (Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte), Rusty Brink (Presbyterian Hospital Foundation) and Charlene Kammerer (Bishop of the Western NC Conference of the United Methodist Church) listen intently to the inspiring words of our excellent speaker Bruce ParkerBruce is not only at the top of the list of Charlotte's most generous philanthropists but he's also way at the top of the list of the most respected people in our city.  Bruce Parker is an honorable man.

Tom Burgess

Tom Burgess (himself a distinguished and very fine man) proposes six new board members for the years beginning July 2000, selected from our general membership by a nominating committee consisting of:  Fred Lowrance, Ronnie Pruett, Worth Williamson, Don Steger and Tom Burgess. (Translation: Two immediate past presidents, current president, incoming president and long-time Charlotte Rotary leader and chair of the Nominating Committee.)
